Simplicity and modern- chic
The mountains lie like a soaring frame around the exclusive city Cortina d’Ampezzo. In the city’s snow covered streets, where the frost glitters in a rainbow of colors, one strolls carelessly. One wants to see, one wants to be seen, but one is never on display. Discreet perfectionism, classic chicness, simplicity; we’re talking about the truth, of natural elegance, of old money, James Bond in the 70’s, and ”for your eyes only.” I can’t avoid being inspired by this scenery and the gamut of my winter collection starts here: Pearl, sapphire blue, rose, ruby red that accompanies black, and soft gray and beige hues. I am inspired by the 60’s and 70’s classics with long, sleek lines to which I have added a contemporary touch with delicate details, so the end result is modern-chic. Soft intensity, simplicity and colorful chicness has been my mantra in the design process. I have worked with wool, cashmere, silk, velour, mink, sheep skin and suede, which is seen throughout in both the clothes and accessories. My collection is 100% Made in Italy and produced with an eye for quality and tradition, but also with the Italian love for informal eligance: Italian women who have no need to appear, insofar as they already ”are
